All Gathering activities take place at the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus, also known as Point Grey campus.
Whether we’re eating, sleeping, or heading to the meeting rooms, we’ll be surrounded by green spaces, gardens, and stunning waterfront views. The campus is bordered on three sides by the Pacific Ocean: Juan de Fuca Strait and Howe Sound.

Discover the Natural Beauty of UBC Vancouver’s Point Grey Campus
Nestled on the picturesque west coast of British Columbia, the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Vancouver campus is a stunning blend of natural landscapes and academic excellence. Whether you’re a student or a visitor, the campus offers an awe-inspiring environment that captivates and invigorates.
Pacific Spirit Regional Park
Adjacent to UBC’S Vancouver campus, and within easy walking distance, is Pacific Spirit Regional Park which offers 75 kilometres of walking and hiking paths contained in more than 750 hectares of forest.
Stunning Waterfront Views
Bordered by the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean, the campus boasts some of the most breathtaking coastal views in the region. The scenic trails along the campus perimeter, such as Wreck Beach Trail, allow for invigorating walks and tranquil moments of reflection while overlooking the ocean. The sunsets here are nothing short of spectacular, painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple.
The Museum of Anthropology
The Museum of Anthropology at UBC showcases world arts and cultures, with a special focus on the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest. It houses nearly 50,000 ethnographic objects and 535,000 archaeological artifacts. The museum is both a major tourist destination and a research and teaching institution.
Lush Green Spaces
UBC’s Vancouver campus is renowned for its lush green spaces that provide a peaceful backdrop for learning and relaxation. Wander through the meticulously maintained gardens, where you can find an array of native plants, flowers, and towering trees. The Nitobe Memorial Garden, a traditional Japanese garden, offers a tranquil escape with its serene ponds and carefully crafted pathways.
UBC’s Botanical Garden is the oldest university botanical garden in Canada, it’s is a gem on campus, showcasing a vast collection of plants from around the world. From the towering trees in the Asian Garden to the vibrant blooms in the Alpine Garden, the garden offers a unique glimpse into different specialty plantings, including alpine, rainforest and medicinal gardens. For the adventurous, the Greenheart TreeWalk offers a unique view of the landscape from suspended walkways and platforms high above the forest floor.
