Pilgrim Paradise in Vancouver

Whether you enjoy walking or cycling, Vancouver offers a vast network of scenic trails and breathtaking green spaces.

Explore Stanley Park, which spans over 405 hectares (1,000 acres). It’s a rich West Coast rainforest, teeming with lush greenery, tranquil trails, and stunning waterfront views. Walk or cycle along 27 kilometres of stunningly scenic pathways, including the iconic 10 km seawall that surrounds the park. Relax on pristine beaches, visit serene gardens, swim in the heated pool and uncover the stories behind Indigenous totem poles in this urban sanctuary that is one of the world’s largest urban parks.

Seaside Greenway is the most popular bike route in Vancouver. On a dedicated bike path separated from cars, it is safe for riders of all ages and abilities, and fun for pedestrians and joggers, too. The route follows The Great Trail from the Vancouver Convention Centre, along Coal Harbour, around Stanley Park Seawall and False Creek, to Granville Island. Take a ferry on False Creek and return on Hornby Bikeway, or continue west on Seaside Greenway to Jericho, Spanish Banks and UBC.
